I'm having a hard time understanding how stats work.  I have two things going right now.  First I have an email for media campaign going.  It shows how many clicks and how many downloads, etc.  That seems to be working fine.

The next thing I have going on is a streaming player that's not in view of the public but the link has been passed around.  I've played the tracks from the widget for testing purposes and have gone to the page multiple times and have had others visit it to listen/test.  The stats are showing up 0's across the board and it's saying in my widget hasn't been viewed. I'm wondering if A) I did something wrong (likely) or B) if there's a buffer period between stats or C) Plays mean something else entirely or D) Stats only come in from Shared Widgets.

Any help/explanation/documentation on this would greatly appreciated.
